There’s lots to know.
A close friend of mine called me “very miscellaneous” and I couldn’t think of a better way to describe myself.
I am extremely passionate and whether it’s a creative task or a technical skill, I dive deep into everything I do. I’d love to give you a glimpse into who I am.
Storytelling.
I competed on the Canadian archery team for several years traveling the world for competitions like World Championships, World Cups and Pan American Games. I enjoyed shooting but my passion was really learning the stories of the people I grew to love through the sport.
I get excited about public speaking, articulating ideas and telling the stories of people that matter to me.
The Olympics.
Now that you know I used to be an athlete, the truth is I always felt like I had failed. Every athlete dreams of going to the Olympics and when the opportunity was closest, I couldn’t handle the pressure.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, I brought the biggest stories to viewers at home and experienced The Games in the way I believe was always meant for me.
Sketching.
I used to take hours or days to draw something. I couldn’t accept imperfections. Recently, I took up urban sketching to find looseness in my lines and beauty in imperfections.
This ongoing journey of letting go has allowed me to be more authentic and free in everything that I do.
All things music.
I grew up playing the violin and drums but last year, I dove deep into DJing and music production.
Golf.
I’m really mediocre at golf but you know, something just keeps me coming back for more.
