OUTSIDE OF DESIGN
The Olympics.
Every athlete dreams of going to the Olympics and when the opportunity was closest, I couldn’t handle the pressure.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, I brought the biggest stories to viewers at home and experienced The Games in the way I believe was always meant for me.
Sketching.
I used to take hours or days to draw something and couldn’t accept imperfections. Recently, I took up urban sketching to find looseness in my lines and beauty in imperfections.
This ongoing journey of letting go has allowed me to be more authentic and free in everything that I do.
Storytelling.
I competed on the Canadian archery team but my passion was really learning the stories of the people I grew to love through the sport.
I get excited about public speaking, articulating ideas and sharing people's stories.
LIFE's too short.
It really is, isn't it? I live life by trying to make the most of every day.
(that includes being mediocre at golf!)
